How do I select my body garment size before my procedure?

Many patients wonder why they should use pre-operative measurements to select a garment when they will be smaller after their procedure.

The transformation following an aesthetic procedure is a process, which may take several weeks or months. Although smaller after your procedure, your body may be the same size as your pre-operative shape for a few weeks due to postoperative swelling.  I know that doesn’t sound fun, but it’s true and something you need to be prepared for.

In most cases, your size is approximately the same immediately before and after surgery.    You’re temporarily trading fat for fluid.  If the garment fits before surgery, it will accommodate swelling after and provide the ideal balance of compression and comfort.
